One component to support electrical installations is the MCB Box. This MCB box is usually found in electrical installations in homes, factories, offices, and in many rooms where there are electrical installations. As the name suggests, this MCB box functions as a place or box to place the MCB so that electrical installations can work more safely and neatly. The MCB itself is a device for protecting electricity from short circuits and overloads. Because its function is very vital, the MCB is supported by an MCB box.

MCB boxes on the market consist of 2 models, namely inbow and outbow models. The in-bow model is an MCB box that is integrated into the wall. Meanwhile, the Outbow model is an MCB box that is installed on the wall surface. Even though the MCB box models are different, they have the same function and are divided into two parts, namely the inner part, which is attached to the wall. If the inbow model is inside the wall, the outbow model is on the surface of the wall and the outside, which tends to only act as a cover for the MCB box. The MCB box consists of a rail or iron MCB holder to place the MCB. Meanwhile, on the wall, there is a screw connector terminal to place the wiring route.

The following are the three functions of MCB boxes in electrical installations:

• Prevent animals from entering the MCB
• Avoid human error.
